InvoMate — Privacy Policy

Introduction

InvoMate ("we", "our", "us") is a Shopify application that helps merchants generate, customize, and send invoices for their orders. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

Store Information

When you install InvoMate, we access the following Shopify data through Shopify's API:

• Store name and domain
• Order details (order number, date, items, prices, shipping, taxes)
• Customer information associated with orders (name, email, address) — only as provided by Shopify for invoice generation
• Product information (name, SKU, variant, price)
• Draft order information (if applicable)

Settings You Provide

• Company information (name, address, phone, email, logo, tax ID)
• Invoice customization preferences (template, colors, layout)
• SMTP email settings (if you choose to send emails through your own server)
• QR code settings (WhatsApp number, website URL, payment links)

How We Use Information

We use the collected information solely to:

• Generate invoices, receipts, credit notes, packing slips, and other documents
• Display order and customer data on your invoices
• Send invoices via email or provide PDF downloads
• Display your dashboard statistics and analytics
• Provide the invoice customization and design features

Data Storage

Invoice records and your app settings are stored securely in our database. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data. Your data is stored on servers hosted by Fly.io.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

InvoMate may use the following third-party services:

• Shopify API — to access your store and order data
• Fly.io — for hosting the application
• Your SMTP provider — if you configure custom email sending (optional)

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as the app is installed on your store. When you uninstall InvoMate, we will delete your store data within 30 days, in accordance with Shopify's requirements.

Customer Data

Customer personal information (names, emails, addresses) is only used to populate invoices and is never used for any other purpose. We process this data on behalf of you, the merchant. You are the data controller for your customers' information.

If you or your customers wish to:

• Request access to stored personal data
• Request deletion of personal data
• Request data portability

Cookies

InvoMate does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. The only cookies used are those required by Shopify for app authentication.

Children's Privacy

InvoMate is a business tool for Shopify merchants and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
